Norway Flåm flam miniature train

The Flam Mountain Railway runs between Myrdal and Flam and is the steepest section of the world's standard gauge railway. It is 20 kilometers long and descends from Myrdal at an altitude of 866 meters to Flam at an altitude of 2 meters, with an average drop of 1 meter for every 18 meters. Construction of the railway began in 1923 and took 20 years to complete. The most time-consuming part during this period was the excavation of the tunnel, which is worth a visit.
