Phoenix ancient town- gorgeous night view

Phoenix town (Fenghuang/凤凰) is a small town in Hunan province. We went there on the way to Zhangjiajie Park. It's absolutely stunning after sunset, so you'd better stay for the night there. There are many small cute cafés facing the river and a lot of "photo shops" renting garments and offering photography services. It's small, so a day and night is quite enough (IMHO) In some sources it's said to be a UNESCO heritage site, though I'm not 💯% sure. It's a nice travel spot: if you are in Hunan or north-east Guizhou, don't miss it We got there from Tongren by shared hello taxi (beware of unexpected extra charges) and went to Zhangjiajie by train In peak season (end of July) it may be quite hard to find a didi/hello taxi, so plan accordingly #phoenixtown #fenghuang
