At night, when the lights come on, it feels like stepping right into the world of Shen Congwen’s *Border Town*. Sitting on the balcony, enjoying the river breeze and chatting with friends, time seems to slow down—this is the true relaxed vibe of Phoenix! The B&B is decorated with impeccable taste! Calligraphy, paintings, and decor exude elegance, and the amenities are thoughtfully chosen—German Grohe bathroom fixtures, high-end bedding—you’ll fall in love with the bed after just one night. The separate wet and dry bathroom design is clean and efficient, making it as comfortable as a five-star hotel! The owner and staff are incredibly kind! Like local "know-it-alls," they enthusiastically recommended authentic local food and hidden gems, helping us avoid tourist traps. From check-in to departure, their attentiveness made us feel like family—the service is truly unmatched. It’s super close to the subway station and attractions, just a quick taxi ride away. Exploring the ancient town or visiting landmarks is effortless, and coming back to relax in the riverside room is pure bliss. This stay in Phoenix Ancient Town was absolutely divine!
