The castle on the banks of the Mümling river in Erbach

In the warm green hills of the Odenwald landscape, there is a very rare place - the town district of Erbach, Erbach, Hesse, between ancient castles and joyful gardens with orangeries, flows the Mümling river, crossed by many bridges. Some of the cultural landscapes here remind me a bit of Venice. During the town tour, the city's tumultuous history is presented in an interesting way, characterized by ivory carving. Erbach is famous for its count's collection. The Erbach castle, built in the 18th century, hides precious treasures. Count Franz I (1754 -1823) founded the famous count's collection, and his grandson Eberhard XV further expanded them. The castle's rooms were specifically designed for antiques, medieval armories and furniture, as well as art and handicrafts from the 16th to the 19th century. Their arrangement has not changed, preserving the very unique aura of each room. Before leaving, I went for afternoon tea ☕️ at the PASSAGE Café + Pastaria. The Italian 🇮🇹 owner was so enthusiastic ❤️‍🔥, and the local ladies filled the place after the 2 o'clock 🕑 bell 🔔 🇩🇪
