Sichuan, Mount Emei, Wannian Temple

The layout of Wannian Temple is exquisite, with the entire temple facing east. The Mahavira Hall and the two wings are at the back, echoing the front and back, connecting the three points, and linking the upper and lower parts. The majestic hall and the Mahavira Hall, together with the wing rooms, form a quadrangle courtyard with corridors on all sides, which is spacious and comfortable. Except for the brick hall with a brick and stone dome, the rest of the temple is made of wood, with a mortise and tenon beam frame, double-eave hip-and-gable roof, and small blue tile roof, sitting on a 5-level platform with a height difference of nearly 5 meters between the front and back. The existing buildings include the mountain gate, bell and drum tower, Maitreya Hall, Mahavira Hall, brick hall, majestic hall, Pilu Hall, and Xingyuan Building.
