Soaking in hot springs every winter seems to have become a habit, and Emei Mountain has always been my first choice. After all, it's only a two-hour drive, and there are many places to visit around Emei Mountain, so it's perfect for a weekend getaway. This time I chose Le Méridien Emei Mountain Resort. I personally think the hot spring is a bit lacking, but the hotel environment is really great! · 🌳 Environment As a chain five-star hotel, the entire hotel is like a huge lakeside park. I especially like the tranquil Le Méridien Lake, especially for a walk in the morning or at dusk. The reflection in the lake is the magnificent mountain scenery of Emei Mountain, and you can clearly see the majestic Golden Summit when the weather is good. · 🏡 Room The rooms at Le Méridien are still of high quality. Although I didn't book a private hot spring room, the standard room is also over 50 square meters, and the bedding meets the five-star standard. · 📸 Photography The most photogenic place in Le Méridien Hotel should be Le Méridien Bar. The floor-to-ceiling bookshelf looks great, and the sunken circular sofa in the water is very similar to the W Hotel in Koh Samui. You can have tea and read books here in the afternoon, and have a drink in the evening. · ♨ Hot Spring The hot spring at Le Méridien Hotel is relatively ordinary, with only two public pools, but the view is really good. This time I happened to encounter good weather. When I was soaking in the hot spring in the morning, the Golden Summit of Emei Mountain was completely exposed in my sight. Soaking in the hot spring while looking up at the Golden Summit, there is an indescribable sacred feeling, and I feel very lucky. · 🏞️ Surroundings ✅ Exiu Lake: Next to the hotel is the larger Exiu Lake, which is perfect for relaxing and strolling around. ✅ Zhaizi Village: The tea garden on the mountain is as good as Mengding Mountain, and you can also see the Sheer Cliff of Emei Mountain. ✅ Dasi Temple Feilai Hall: The best-preserved ancient building in Emei Mountain, with the oldest Yuan Dynasty building in Sichuan. ✅ Suji Town: An ancient town built along the river, worth a special visit just for the beef and rice candy.
