A Collection of Beautiful Ruins

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a must-visit if you're travelling through Vietnam and end up near Danang or Hoi An. This was the easiest starting point during our trip when wanting to stop by this ancient site of the Champa Kingdom. Here you will be able to see over 70 different structures that are / were devoted to Hindu gods and goddesses, and the carvings on the bricks of each building can be pretty remarkable - some in better condition than others, of course. When to visit: In the mornings! So that you don't get too hot, and the site (hopefully) won't be so busy at that time.
