Visit the National Museum of Tajikistan

#AdventurousTraveler The Tajik Museum was established in 1959. It was originally an internal exhibition room of the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, and was later opened to the public. The museum houses a collection of more than 16,000 samples of various minerals and gemstones, but due to space limitations, only 4,500 pieces are on display. 90% of the exhibits are minerals produced in Tajikistan itself, and a small portion is provided by other countries through exchange. Here exhibits from different branches of geology are displayed: mineralogy, petrology, paleontology and paleobotany. The museum not only comprehensively displays the geological distribution of Tajikistan, but also displays the distribution of minerals, and exhibits samples of minerals and different stages of origin and evolution. The museum has a map of Tajikistan's mineral resources, which shows the origin and distribution of the minerals. The museum is huge, from the first underground floor to the third floor above ground. It displays in detail the historical changes from ancient times to modern times, covering many fields such as ecology, flora, fauna and art. A special exhibition hall dedicated to the Pamir region is set up, which is very worth visiting.
