Two days in Durres, a journey through history and modernity.

As soon as I set foot in Durres, I was captivated by the charm of the city. On the first day, I headed straight to Durres Castle. Standing on the castle, the sea breeze blowing in my face, I could almost hear the echoes of history. 🏰 At lunchtime, I tasted authentic Albanian cuisine at a small restaurant near the castle. The taste was unforgettable. 😋 In the afternoon, I strolled through the narrow streets of the old town, where every ancient building seemed to tell a story of the past. 🏘️ At night, I chose to walk by the sea, watching the sunset slowly fall and listening to the sound of the waves gently lapping the beach. At that moment, I felt as if I had become part of the city. 🌊 On the second day, I went to Barc Beach, where the water is crystal clear and the sand is soft and white. ☀️ I played on the beach and enjoyed the joy of the sun and the waves. At lunch, I tasted the local seafood, and the delicious taste is unforgettable. 🍤 In the afternoon, I visited the Durres Museum to learn more about the history and culture of Albania.
