Sand dunes in Dunhunag, Gansu province

Echoing Sand Mountain and the Crescent-shaped Lake. A beautiful place which we visited as a part of Silk road trip. It was nice daily trip. Tickets are slightly costly, however the experience is worth it. In the area you can do a lot of different activities such as camel ride, sand slides, or just walk up the dunes. It is better to come early, especially during the summer as the sun could be very strong and consequently the sand becomes extremely hot. nonetheless you can hire a shoes covers if you need them.
