Yulei Mountain, Yunfu Ancient and Modern.

Yulei Mountain is Jiuding Mountain, north of the source of the Jian River, which stretches south to the northwest of Guan County (now Dujiangyan City), and is the mountain on one side of the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project - Neijiang "Baopingkou", with "Lidui" on the other side. When Li Bing was managing the water, the two were one mountain. To open the "Baopingkou" to limit the flow of water into the Neijiang for irrigation, the mountain was split. The smaller, lower mountain was "Lidui", and the main mountain was "Yulei Mountain". Historically, floods in the upper reaches of the Min River would rush from here to the Chengdu Plain. The above photo was taken from the entrance to the scenic area on Dujiangyan West Street, along Yulei Mountain on the way to Erwang Temple. The scenery along this route is beautiful, and as it is close to the Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, you can see the whole project from the mountain path.
