World Irrigation Engineering Heritage - Dujiangyan

Dujiangyan, located to the west of Chengdu city in Dujiangyan City, Sichuan Province, sits on the Minjiang River in the western part of the Chengdu Plain. It is a vast engineering system composed of the headwork's hub (Fish Mouth, Feisha Weir, Baopingkou), various levels of irrigation channels, various types of engineering structures, and large, medium, and small reservoirs and weirs, covering an area of more than 200 acres.
