The Pearl of the Adriatic—Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik's old town was built in the 7th century AD, nestled between mountains and sea, and is famous for its enchanting scenery. It is a popular vacation destination known as the 'Pearl of the Adriatic.' This place is one of the main filming locations for King's Landing, the capital of the Seven Kingdoms in the TV series 'Game of Thrones.' The day we visited was extremely hot, but we were still drawn to many attractions by the scenery: taking a cable car to see the panoramic view, with the mountaintop being the best place to enjoy the beauty of Dubrovnik; Lovrijenac Fortress, standing outside the western gate of the old town, guarding the land like a sentinel, facing the old town across the sea, and taking 'Game of Thrones' style photos at King's Landing harbor; as well as the beach, Jesuit Stairs, Spanish Steps, and more. 'Game of Thrones' fans will surely recognize many familiar scenes.
