Overview: Yanya Village, located on Sufeng Mountain Road in Xipu Town, Dongshan County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, is a natural village within Donggu Administrative Village. Situated in a mountain valley at the northern foot of Sufeng Mountain, it boasts a coastal location and a history dating back to the Tianqi period of the Ming Dynasty. • Historical Changes: Before the opening of the Sufeng Mountain Coastal Road, the village was isolated due to inconvenient transportation, and villagers relied on traditional fishing for their livelihood, living a secluded life. In December 2016, with the completion of the Sufeng Mountain Coastal Road, Yanya Village gradually gained recognition from the outside world. • Village Features • Architectural Style: The village's architecture primarily consists of old Minnan stone houses, incorporating sea stones into their construction. Although many of these stone houses are now deserted, they remain standing, creating a unique landscape. • Natural Scenery: Scattered with strangely shaped rocks, the village offers clear waters and uniquely shaped reefs along the beach, sculpted by seawater erosion. The distant lighthouse adds to the primitive and rustic beauty of the scene. • Popular Photo Spot: "Yanya Lovers" is a giant rock resembling an eagle's beak. Sitting on it for photos creates the illusion of being on a cliff edge, attracting numerous tourists.
