Dongkou Luoxi National Forest Park Travel Guide

Luoxi Forest Park is a forest park located in the southwest of Hunan Province. It was approved as a provincial forest park and later promoted to a national forest park, and is a national 3A-level scenic spot. The total area of Luoxi National Forest Park is 29,811.8 hectares, with vast forests and rich natural scenery. The park has thirteen mountains over 1000 meters above sea level, such as Puzinao (1821 meters above sea level) and Gaodeng Mountain (1581.4 meters above sea level). There are nine major rivers, including one of the sources of the Yuan River and the Zi River. The park also has some primitive ancient villages and Yao ethnic customs, adding to its warmth and sentiment. The park has four major scenic areas: Wanzhangyan Scenic Area, Gaodeng Mountain Scenic Area, Xiangqian Ancient Trail Scenic Area, and Gongxi Lake Scenic Area.
