The Naval War Museum located in Humen Town, Dongguan City is one of the museums in Dongguan City that displays the history of the Opium War to visitors. This museum, located near Weiyuan Fort, preserves historical materials related to the Opium War. This visit gave me a deeper understanding of the Opium War in Chinese history. The museum displays the historical background, events and impacts of the time, prompting me to reflect on this period of history. During the visit, I deeply felt the profound impact of this war on China. The Opium War resulted in the infringement of China's territorial integrity and dealt a severe blow to China's national dignity and national self-esteem. This history reminds us of the importance of defending our national sovereignty and dignity.
