Visit the Ban Koh Rat community, Don Sak

Koh Rat is a small island that is a fishing community. On the island, there are many homestays and restaurants. To get here, you have to cross the island via the Chalermsirirat Bridge, which is a sea bridge built by King Rama IX to help the villagers have a transportation route. (Sometimes during festivals, cars may be closed to cross the island, but you can park your car on the shore and rent a car to cross the island.) When you cross the bridge, you will see the Kuan Yu Shrine and the Tabtim Shrine, located in front of the island. Koh Rat is not very large, so you can walk around and see nature and the way of life. If you have time, you can stay at a homestay here for a night because many homestays are accommodations and serve fresh seafood buffets for customers to eat.
