The ancient temple, filled with endless summer blooms, dominates the summer of Sichuan!

Yanzuo Zen Temple, formerly known as 'Xiaogan Temple', was founded during the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of nearly two thousand years. The most beautiful time of the temple is from May to June every year, as the garden's endless summer flowers bloom in succession. The clusters of hydrangea flowers complement the ancient temple that has stood for a millennium, creating an incomparably beautiful scene. The temple's current ancient architecture mainly consists of two parts: one is the Longhu Relic Pagoda, the only Yuan Dynasty brick pagoda existing in Sichuan Province, and a national key cultural relic protection unit. The other is the Sutra Tower built during the Ming Dynasty's Chenghua period, with a dougong-style structure, a single-eave hipped-gable roof, and a dry-tile roof surface. 📷 Flower Viewing Trips: ❶ It is recommended to visit in the morning on sunny days, as the hydrangea flowers may wilt in the strong afternoon sun; ❷ Visiting early in the morning means fewer people, and there are also fewer visitors around lunchtime and before closing, around 1 PM and 5 PM respectively; ❸ Currently, about 80% of the flowers have bloomed, and they are not yet in full bloom. The best viewing period is expected to be in the next 20 days, and the blooming period will generally last until early June. 🚗 Self-drive navigation: Navigate to 'Yanzuo Zen Temple', where you can park on the roadside at the mountain gate, about a 1.5h drive from downtown Chengdu 🚞 Public transportation: 1. Take a high-speed train to 'Deyang Station', turn right out of the station and walk to 'Qingyijiang Interchange Bus Station', take bus 109 to Dexiao City Road Junction (about 50 minutes), then walk to the temple. 2.
