It is really amusing for me that even up to this day, the Shaolin temple still accepts students who wish to learn kung fu and there are actually a lot of them. You will see them right away practicing while you walk aroung the grounds of the temple. This is something worth keeping, the tradition and culture of Shaolin must be kept forever and I hope the world could also see how interesting it is to still see them practice Kung fu. We were only day for half a day and even watched the kung fu show but you can definitely spend more time here and see how these practitioners live everyday. How to get here: From Zhengzhou take a bus to Dengfeng from Zhengzhou Bus Station (about 2 hours), and then take a bus to Shaolin Temple (about 20 minutes) or rent a car if there are 4 or 3 of you who can share the cost.
