Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine!!

It is praised as the head shrine of approximately 12,000 shrines across the country that enshrines Ame-no-Sugawara Michizane (Tenjin-sama), and is revered as the god of learning and protection from misfortune. Many worshippers come from all over Japan. Although it was a weekday when we visited, it happened to be very lively with many students on a school trip. As Tenjin is the god of learning, just seeing the students made me want to cheer them on. The irises in the garden were also very beautiful that day. Many people were taking photos there. There are quite a few parking lots in the area.
