Evening Stroll at Dazaifu Tenmangu: A Peaceful Visit! ⛩️🌸

#summervacay I made it to Dazaifu Tenmangu just before dark, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The cool breeze and sparse crowds made for a wonderfully comfortable experience. This shrine perfectly embodies the typical Japanese attraction: not huge in size, but incredibly refined and picturesque. It's exactly the kind of scenery I personally love. I even got lucky and snagged the last two piping hot local plum cakes just before the shop closed! The filling was similar to red bean paste and glutinous rice – sweet, but not overly so, which was perfect. Of course, I picked up some health charms for my parents and myself, wishing for good health and safety for the whole family, and longevity for my parents.
