Xiling Snow Mountain is truly worth it 🫶

As Du Fu described, Xiling Snow Mountain is like a poem in every frame, a painting everywhere you look! Starting from downtown Chengdu, it takes only two hours to reach the scenic area! You can hardly see any snow ❄️ at the entrance, but once inside, you must take the cable car to Yuanyang Pool! To save time, we took the sightseeing bus directly to Yingxue Square, then took a long cable car to Riyueping! The stunning view at Riyueping hits you right in the heart. Once you get up there, you can see the sun, and it’s actually warmer than halfway up the mountain! The sea of clouds under the sunlight—I guess this is what a fairyland must look like! Keep walking forward from Riyueping, and the scenery along the way is beautiful! So, we basically spent most of our time here. Yingxue Square is mainly for skiing, and the daytime session ends around 5 PM! If you want to ski, you have to wait for the night session starting at 7 PM! Overall, the snow scenery at Xiling Snow Mountain is really worth it. The altitude isn’t too high, and a one- or two-day trip is enough!
