Anren Ancient Town

Anren Ancient Town is known as a museum-style ancient town, with museums along the streets. The architectural style of the ancient town is distinct, featuring both stone carvings and wood carvings that are very intricate and exquisite. Additionally, the ancient town still retains a small tramway, but perhaps due to timing, I did not see the small tram nor did I get to ride it. The town has traditional handicrafts such as stone carving, wood carving, and oil-paper umbrellas, as well as new handicrafts like bamboo weaving, shell weaving, and shell painting. The ancient town is quiet, suitable for leisurely strolls and night tours. There are many homestays within the ancient town, making it convenient for accommodation. Nearby, there are also the former residences of Liu Wencai and Liu Wenhui, which are worth a visit.
