Jianbei Ancient Village in Gaoping, Shanxi

Jianbei Village is adjacent to Jiannan Village, with a rich cultural heritage and numerous religious cultural relics. Ancient buildings from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties are all preserved. There are many ancient temples and courtyards, two-story siheyuan compounds, ancestral halls, steles, and prehistoric cultural sites. Key cultural relic protection units in Shanxi Province include the Jianbei Confucian Temple and the San'guan Zhenwu Temple founded in the Ming Dynasty; immovable cultural relics in Gaoping include the Yaowang Temple, Baiyi Pavilion, as well as the Zhang Family Courtyard at No. 5 Jianbei Residence and the Chen Family Courtyard at No. 6 Ancient Residence in Jianbei. It is listed as the fourth batch of China's traditional villages.
