Exploring Datong Ancient City During May Day｜Day and Night Adventures!

Datong Ancient City is much larger than expected. Although many parts have been reconstructed, it still retains a significant portion of its original sites. Within the ancient city, there are numerous famous temples and historical landmarks, such as Huayan Temple, Shanhua Temple, Guan Yu Temple, and the Nine Dragon Wall. Truly impressive! 👍 At night, the city lights up beautifully. If you're interested, you can climb up the city walls to enjoy the lantern festival, which exudes a retro charm and is quite stunning ❤️. It's recommended to take a stroll along the city walls, enjoying the cool breeze for a romantic experience! Another highlight for me was the unique shops on Drum Tower East Street. Wandering into the alleys and dead ends led to unexpected surprises. The pedestrian street is adorned with various small lanterns and interesting graffiti, giving off a very artsy vibe. I even bought a 1,000-piece puzzle of the Water Moon Guanyin 🧩 here, which made me super happy!
