Mu Qingchen is a villa residence located in the ancient city of Datong. The building maintains the architectural charm of local multi-story residences, and the facade maximizes the preservation of the local ecology of the original site, with blue bricks and gray tiles, and a courtyard layout. The interior space breaks away from the traditional hotel layout, and the "homecoming" design concept brings travelers a friendly and comfortable home-like experience. The stairs are the traffic line that runs through the entire space and the emotional transition point between different areas. The stairs are wrapped in artistic paint with a rustic texture. The smooth arc without edges and corners, combined with the guidance of light, gives a sense of inclusiveness. Sparse and dense, light and dark, open and closed, each functional area is orderly arranged in different positions in the space, and the division of spatial relationships makes the rhythm changeable. The guest rooms are consistently quiet and comfortable, with soft fabrics on the beds like gentle feathers, gently wrapping the body and mind, allowing people to let go of the fatigue of the journey and immerse themselves in warmth and tranquility.
