Datong | Chunyang Palace

A Taoist temple dedicated to the worship of Pure Yang Lu Zu, also known as Lu Zu Temple. It is the only existing Taoist temple of the Quanzhen sect in Datong city. Chunyang Palace in Datong was founded by Liu Daoning, the head of the Western Capital Daoist Palace, at the end of the Jin Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty. The entire architectural complex is innovatively designed, with a layout that is both ingenious and compact.
