Just got back from Western Sichuan, to be honest...

Just finished my trip to Western Sichuan, and this is the real dressing guide for June to August 😅. After going there, I realized there's really no need to bring too many clothes to Western Sichuan. From June to August, don't overthink your outfits, just dress beautifully and take lots of photos 📷! Many guides are too complicated, but just focus on these key points 👇: 1️⃣: The temperature in Western Sichuan from June to August ranges from 🌡️ 0°C to 22°C, with strong midday sun and big temperature differences between morning and evening. Don’t take chances; at least bring a thin down jacket‼️ If you’re not shooting sunrise on the open plateau in the early morning or late evening, a thick coat will suffice. Wear a dress 👗 for daytime photos, then quickly put on a long-sleeve jacket to keep warm! 👉 (Windbreaker/thin down jacket/thick coat + photo outfit) 2️⃣: 👟 Bring 1-2 pairs of shoes. A pair of Martin boots is both photogenic 📷 and practical, easily handling various terrains. 👉 (Martin boots/sneakers + photo shoes) 3️⃣: 🧢 Don’t forget your hat! Western Sichuan is windy, so it’s best to choose a fluffy hat that covers your ears and the back of your head; a baseball cap is also good. Without a hat, the wind will give you a headache 😭. Looking good and staying warm is the key. 4️⃣: Sunscreen must be both physical and chemical ✅. Sunscreen, sun mask, sunglasses 🕶️, and hat are all essential. The UV rays in Western Sichuan are very strong, and inadequate sun protection can easily cause sunburn! 5️⃣: The climate in Western Sichuan is dry, even oily skin can crack and peel! Be sure to bring lip balm and body lotion, apply generously after every shower, and take good care of your skin. ✅ Recommended attractions from June to August: Genei: Known as the "Little Switzerland of Western Sichuan," with dense 🌲 forests and cozy 🏡 cabins. From late June to mid-July, the mountains are covered in a sea of flowers 🌼🌸, breathtakingly beautiful! Daocheng Yading: A trip here is never regretted, but the hiking trails are long, so remember to wear comfortable shoes. Siguniang Mountain: Surrounded 360 degrees by snowy mountains 🏔️ and forests 🌳, the scenery is stunning. Jiagenba: The highland pastoral scenery is super healing, with streams, mushrooms, cattle, and sheep—an excellent camping ⛺️ spot! Lenggacuo: A great place to watch the sunrise on the golden mountain 🌄. Use the "Tianwen Tong" app in advance to check the cloud cover and weather for the next 3 days ☁️ to increase your chances of seeing the sunrise on the golden mountain! ⚠️ Notes: ‼️ The altitude in Western Sichuan is generally 3,000 to 4,000 meters 🏔️. Don’t take a shower on the first night to avoid altitude sickness. ‼️ Drive carefully; many roads in Western Sichuan are in poor condition and complicated. It’s recommended to hire an experienced driver 👨‍💼. ‼️ Signal 📶 is weak in Western Sichuan, so download offline maps before departure. ‼️ Most toilets here are dry toilets. If you’re sensitive to odors, wear a mask and bring wet wipes. Many toilets have no water, so wet wipes are very handy for hand cleaning! ✊ All these key points are very practical, don’t overlook them!
