See Pear Blossoms in Danba Zhonglu Tibetan Village

Danba County in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is home to Zhonglu Tibetan Village. The village is located at an altitude of 1,839–3,552 meters and is separated from the sacred Mount Moerduo by a river. The village is a representative of the Jiarong farming villages, and Danba Tibetan Village is also known as one of the most beautiful villages in China. The village is home to watchtowers and pear blossoms, with hundreds of Tibetan-style houses built on the mountain in a staggered manner. Every year from mid to late March, the pear blossoms in Danba Tibetan Village bloom one after another. The snow-white and light pink pear blossoms complement the watchtowers and village houses, and the green barley fields on the mountainside create a beautiful picture. The pear blossoms in Jinchuan bloom around March 20 and last for a month. During this season, Zhonglu Tibetan Village is covered with pear blossoms all over the mountains, and the unique Tibetan watchtowers make it a great place to take photos and enjoy the flowers. There are also homestays here, so if you have time, it is better to stay here for a few days. The temperature in Danba in March and April is still quite cold, so you need to wear winter clothes and prepare non-slip and waterproof hiking shoes. The ultraviolet rays on the plateau are relatively strong, so you need to protect yourself from the sun. If you want to take beautiful photos, you can wear bright-colored clothes, or wear Hanfu or local Jiarong costumes.
