Namtso Shengxiang Tianmen.

Shengxiang Tianmen is located in the 5th Village, Qinglong Township, Bangor County, Naqu City, Tibet, on the Qia Duolangka Island in the north of the holy lake Namtso. Baidu and Gaode maps show that it is located on the Zaxi Island in the south bank of Namtso, but in fact, Shengxiang Tianmen is on the north bank of Namtso. Route: Depart from Damxung County and drive 9 km to the scenic area gate, then drive another 23 km to a three-way intersection, which is Namtso Township. Turn left and go west to Zaxi Island. Do not go to Zaxi Island, but go north along another road. Drive 56 km from the east of Namtso, and the road is all asphalt and in good condition. Then turn left after Dongga Village and start on a dirt road. Drive 30 km on the dirt road to Gangxiong Village, then drive another 27 km on the dirt road along the north of Namtso to Shengxiang Tianmen. Shengxiang Tianmen is located in the 5th Village, Qinglong Township, Bangor County, Naqu Region, Tibet, on the Qia Duolangka Island in the north of the holy lake Namtso. It is said that in the 8th century AD, the Lotus Master who was invited to Tibet to preach Buddhism by the Tibetan King Trisong Detsen tamed the Nyenchen Tanglha and married Namtso to Nyenchen Tanglha, making them a couple. A grand wedding ceremony was held on Qia Duolangka Island. The night before the wedding, a stone gate was built by 108 gods in one night. The stone gate is shaped like a holy elephant walking from the northeast to the southwest. It was built specifically as a passage for the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain. People call this stone gate Shengxiang Tianmen. As the name suggests, Shengxiang Tianmen is a huge stone elephant naturally formed and standing on the vast bank of Namtso. The elephant's trunk is deep into the lake, as if it is drawing the holy water from the snowfield. Between the body and the trunk of the stone elephant is a huge gate, which is the holy gate to heaven. As a holy place of Tibetan Tantrism, countless high monks and hermits have practiced here for thousands of years, and it is still the same.
