The Three Pagodas of Dali

The three pagodas are located within the big complex of Chongsheng Temple, in Dali China. The three pagodas are separated from the rest of the temple buildings by a building that forms a bridge over a road that passes through the complex. The pagodas form a triangle, where the main square pagoda was built first about 1800 years ago, and the other two smaller circular pagodas were built 100 years later, with a different style. The pagodas are quite incredible architecturally. The other temple buildings are regular, classical but modern Buddhist temples. The Congshan mountain forms a great background.
