There is a lot of motor vehicle traffic on this road, so you should always pay attention to the surrounding vehicles and ride on the right side of the road. Arriving at Caicun Wharf, you will see the vast Erhai Lake in front of you. In the early morning, the sun shines on the water, making it sparkle. You can stroll along the boardwalk at the wharf and feel the tranquility and beauty of Erhai Lake. 📍Caicun Pier - Xizhou Ancient Town 🛵The distance is about 22 kilometers and the riding time is 1-2 hours Continue riding north along the Dali Line. There are many motor vehicles along the way, so you need to concentrate highly. But the scenery is amazing, with the Cangshan Mountains on the left and large stretches of rice fields on both sides of the road on the right (the scenery varies in different seasons)! When entering Xizhou Ancient Town, Sifang Street is a must-see place. Try the authentic Xizhou Baba, which has a crispy outer skin and soft and glutinous fillings. The aroma of wheat and the fragrance of the fillings are intertwined, leaving you with an endless aftertaste. Wandering in the streets of the ancient town, you can admire the exquisite wood and stone carvings of Bai architecture and feel the traces of time. 📍Xizhou Ancient Town - Shuanglang Ancient Town 🛵The distance is about 27 kilometers and the riding time is about 1.5-2 hours After bidding farewell to Xizhou, we continued along the Dali Line - Huanhai Road. The view on this section of the road became wider and there were fewer vehicles. The vast Erhai Lake has clear water and birds occasionally fly over the water. Arrive at Shuanglang Ancient Town, park the motorcycle, find a corner near the sea to sit down, order a drink, and quietly enjoy the scenery of lakes and mountains. The Nanzhao Fengqing Island appears and disappears before your eyes, adding a touch of mystery to this beautiful scenery. You can also visit the specialty shops in the ancient town and pick up some souvenirs. 📍Return trip: Shuanglang Ancient Town-Dali Ancient Town 🛵About 50 kilometers, 2-3 hours of riding After finishing your visit in Shuanglang, return to Dali Ancient Town along the original route.
