In midsummer, various trees on Dali Tuanshan Mountain are lush and green. The heat-loving cycads are blooming with thick bananas, and the colorful Lantana is still in full bloom.

The open space on the top of Yuanzhu Stone is the best viewing spot for Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake. In the distance, water, mountains and sky blend into each other, and the white-walled and black-tiled houses of the Bai ethnic group on the east and west banks of Erhai Lake are dotted between the mountains and water like stars. The white pointed-roof houses on the edge of the mountain and the skylight mirror over the pool are dazzling in the sun. The scenery here is great for viewing and taking photos, but the sun is scorching and it is not advisable to stay for long. People drinking coffee or tea or daydreaming in the pergola under the shade of the trees nearby look very comfortable, because as long as they avoid the sun, the mountain breeze will make them feel cool and comfortable both physically and mentally. Sitting in the shade and letting time pass slowly is a benefit enjoyed exclusively by the elderly or those with free time.
