Dali Xizhou | Leisure Half-Day Tour Guide

Having been to Dali four or five times, this is my first time in Dali Xizhou experiencing the Bai ethnic culture and the wind blowing through the wheat waves. Watching the sunset over the Orange Sea by Erhai Lake, I let myself go and felt the romance brought by the Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake. Xizhou Ancient Town (p2-3): Mainly features ancient Bai ethnic architecture. It's not too commercialized, and there's a golden wheat field in May 🌾 (turn the corner and walk inside to see this golden wheat field, reserved for tourists to take photos 📷. The wheat has been harvested recently, so be careful not to miss it if you want to take photos of the rice fields). If you're not too particular about perfect wheat field photos, you can just come to Xizhou Ancient Town, enjoy food and entertainment, and casually take photos of the wheat fields, which also turn out great. Jiangzhi Collection·Folk Art Center (p4-6): Hidden in the alleys of Xizhou Ancient Town, this exhibition showcases the intangible cultural heritage of the Bai people. The entire folk art center is a characteristic Bai ethnic courtyard; not only can you learn about Dali's history, customs, and traditional public sentiment, but you can also experience tie-dyeing, ancient paper-making, printmaking, and 'tile cats' among other novel experiences... There's also a replica of the old Xizhou street, with many small shop scenes, where a casual photo captures a great atmosphere. 5-11 Favorite Homestays in Xizhou (p7-14): Environment: Located next to the Sea Snake Park Ecological Corridor, it boasts an exceptional view, with few people and cars, the sea breeze, mountain and sea views, and it's simply too comfortable~ The newly renovated style is particularly in line with young people's aesthetics, with the Bai ethnic style of white walls and green tiles, and the succulents in the yard add a playful touch. There's also a large terrace on the top floor, where watching the sunset while sipping a drink is simply too comfortable~ Rooms: The room facilities are very new, and there are many types of rooms to choose from, including large floor-to-ceiling windows inside the room, and a family loft suitable for children to play. The rooms are spacious and bright, the bathrooms are dry and wet separated, clean and refreshing, and there's a super large projector which is very comfortable for binge-watching TV shows and movies. The smart configurations are also quite complete... Waking up in the morning and being able to see Erhai Lake is just too blissful!
