I must admit that Dali is not short of beautifully designed guesthouses and hotels, but when it comes to detailed service, Hainar undoubtedly exists as the pinnacle in my heart. Hainar means blue sky and white clouds in the Bai language. This hotel is the only one in Yunnan that is part of the Small Luxury Hotels at present. Backed by the Cangshan Mountains and facing the Erhai Lake, the elements of white clouds and golf run through every corner of the hotel, with a golf course right downstairs. The hotel's 8 villas contain 23 guest rooms. The elegant and tranquil design of the new Chinese-style rooms is worth savoring in every corner, whether it's the public spaces or the rooms themselves. The tea bar, cigar bar, and wine bar elevate the vacation atmosphere to a higher level. The butler service is really thoughtful. They contact guests before check-in to add contact information, understand the guests' dietary preferences, transportation needs, and so on. If you need assistance, just send a message, and they will come to help quickly, making you somewhat dependent on the butler and allowing you to completely relax haha. The best spot for photos is the blue transparent infinity pool that extends towards the direction of Erhai Lake. From an aerial view, it looks like it's floating in mid-air, and the scenery is stunning both day and night. The hotel's dining standards are very much on point. Breakfast is semi-buffet with two choices of Chinese and Western cuisine, which are confirmed with guests the day before. It can also be served in the room. For lunch and dinner, orders need to be placed a day in advance. The Chongsheng Temple Three Pagodas and the ancient city are nearby.
