When visiting Erhai Lake, be sure to protect yourself from the sun with a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen, as there is a large temperature difference between morning and evening. There are many cultural and scenic attractions in the area, such as the ideal Santorini-like Lijiang, Jin Suo Island, Luoquan Peninsula, and the top of Luoquan Tower, which offers a 360-degree view of the Cangshan Mountains. Other attractions include the Rainbow Road leading to the sea in Wenbi Village, the Flower Drunk Art Space, Xiaoputuo, Wase, Shuanglang, Nanzhao Island, Yujidao, and many other popular photography spots, some of which are marked as consumption areas. The eastern side of Erhai Lake is a great place to capture the sunset over the Cangshan Mountains.
