Located in Dalad Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, this amazing scenic area combines desert landscapes with tons of exciting and fun activities. It's an absolute must-visit on your travel list! 🌟 Basic Information: 📍 Location: Xiangshawan Tourist Area, Dalad Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia ⏰ Opening Hours: 8:30 am - 7:00 pm 🎫 Tickets: • Without Island Access: Entry ticket + round-trip cable car (Line 1/2): CNY 120/adult, CNY 50/student, child, and senior over 60. Includes access to some desert activities. Camel riding requires an additional fee. • Xiansha Island: Entry ticket + round-trip cable car (Line 1/2) + island access: CNY 260/person. With camel riding: CNY 320/person. Offers a wide range of activities, including rail bikes and ziplines. • Yuesha Island: Entry ticket + round-trip cable car (Line 1/2) + island access: CNY 240/person. Parking is very convenient. • By Bus: Take a bus from Hohhot Long-distance Bus Station to Dalad Banner (CNY 52/person). From Dalad Banner, take a taxi to the scenic area (approx. CNY 90). • By Train/High-speed Rail: Take a train or high-speed rail from Hohhot to Baotou Station, then transfer to a train to Dalad West Station. From the station, it's about a 25 km taxi ride to the scenic area. 🌈 Recommended Route: Entrance - Cable Car - Off-road Vehicle to Xiansha Island - Camel Riding - Amusement Park - Yuesha Island - Water Activities - Small Train - Cable Car - Exit 🌅 Island Features: • Liansha Island: Focuses on leisure and vacation. Bring sand-proof gear such as masks and goggles. • Use waterproof and sand-proof bags for electronic devices like phones and cameras. Dust plugs alone may not be enough to keep out the sand. • Wear athletic shoes or desert boots, and sand-proof socks. Going barefoot is also an option, but be careful not to get cuts or scrapes.
