Santorini lost on the Zhejiang coast

🏝️Recently, I unlocked a treasured niche island, Daishan Island in Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Although it is crowded with people during holidays, it is stunningly peaceful and beautiful. It is the second largest island in Zhoushan, known as the Penglai Fairy Island and also known as the Eastern Santorini. 🌉After the Zhoudai Bridge is opened to traffic, you no longer need to take a ferry to go to Daishan, you can drive there by yourself. 🛣️Daishan not only has beautiful natural landscapes such as beaches, tea fields, and ring roads around the island, but also rich cultural landscapes such as ancient towns, temples, and museums. 🚴You can ride a bike along the ring road to catch the evening breeze, or take a leisurely walk in the quaint village, or stroll around the blue and white town to take photos and check in, which is very photogenic. It is also very pleasant to chase the waves barefoot on the beach... 🚗Transportation: Self-driving is recommended, about 4 hours from Shanghai 🌈Recommended attractions: 1️⃣Blue and White Town: Free 🏠Rows of blue and white houses are neatly arranged, fresh and clean, with a Santorini style that makes people's eyes bright. One of the walls is painted with Totoro from Hayao Miyazaki's animation. You can take a photo and check in~ ⚠️The Aegean beach next to the town is temporarily closed due to construction and is expected to reopen in mid-June 2️⃣Moxin Mountain: Free 🍵The mountain and the sea are connected. It takes about 2km of stairs to reach the top. There is a Ciyun Jile Temple on the top of the mountain. You can go up to the upper level of the temple pagoda and overlook the entire island scenery. The pagoda closes at 16:30 in the afternoon. There are large tea plantations on the mountain. Walking on the winding road around the island, you can enjoy a broad view and beautiful scenery. 3️⃣ Cape Park: Free ⛺️Camping on the seaside boardwalk built by the sea, there is a beach, you can barbecue and camp, or you can ride on the beach. There is also a Lover's Island viewing platform over there, which looks like a heart pierced by an arrow from above, very romantic~ 4️⃣Lulan Qingsha: 30 yuan 🌄The longest beach along the coast of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, with a 3.6km coastline, a flat beach, soft sand, a seaside bookstore, and a sea post office. It is great for taking photos and watching the sunrise. 5️⃣Dongsha Ancient Town: Free 🌊The only ancient fishing town on an island in China, with a fishery museum, a street of intangible cultural heritage, and a variety of snacks. Begonia cake is very famous 6️⃣Double Stone Wall: 45 yuan 🪨One of the ten scenic spots of ancient Penglai, there are all kinds of strange and rugged rocks, you can climb up and see far, and there are many museums on the island that are open to the public for free.
