Daejeon Expo Park and Hanbit Tower

This tower was built during the Daejeon Expo in 1993. The theme of the Expo at that time was "The Road to a New Leap" and the subtitles were "Harmony of Traditional Technology and Modern Science" and "Efficient Use and Recycling of Resources." The Expo was held for 93 days from August 7 to November 7, 1993, and the tower has remained a tourist attraction and a treasure trove for the surrounding citizens. Based on the shape of Cheomseongdae in Gyeongju, it is the central building of the Expo, 93m high and contains 1,993 bricks. 1,993 bricks were used for the Expo held in 1993. Koreans seem to like this symbol, haha. Actually, if you look at it from someone who doesn't know, it looks like a donut in a pointed cone and has nothing to do with Cheomseongdae, but if you look closely at the exterior wall, it resembles the stepped gray bricks of Cheomseongdae. The observatory was originally 2,500 won, but after Corona, it was opened for free, so you can look inside for free.
