CAFE GIBEON

Cafe Give On... I thought it was Give On. 'Gibe On' is the Hebrew word 'Gib On' and it means 'a small hill or garden in the mountains'. After visiting Dodong Seowon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the 400-year-old ginkgo tree, I came to a pretty cafe right next to it. The building is divided into the main building and the annex, and the annex building has seating and a sand playground, so it seems like a good place for children to run around to their heart's content. Looking at the interior, the owner's sense and delicacy stood out. The beautifully colored seashells, candles of various shapes, pine cones, dried flowers, reed decorations, and various lighting fixtures were really nice. There were many paintings by Matisse, and I also admired the ginkgo tree in front of Dodong Seowon on an autumn day, which I regret not seeing today, through a large frame. If you go out to the terrace on the second floor, you can sit on a modern iron black and white chair and enjoy the waterside view of the Nakdong River and the mountain view. If you go up to the rooftop, you can feel the cool space inside the cafe.
