Trip to Daegu 🇰🇷

It was a trip to Daegu, South Korea with family. We visited Daegu Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine upon arrival. This museum offered insights into traditional Korean medicine and the history of Yangnyeongsi, a famous medicine market in Daegu. ⏰ 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Closed on Mondays) 📍51-1 Namseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu We also visited the Gyesan Catholic Church. It was built in 1902, this Gothic-style church is one of Daegu's most prominent historical landmarks. ⏰9:00 AM - 6:00 PM 📍10 Seoseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu We then walked around the Dongseongno Street. It is Daegu’s main shopping street, where modern meets traditional. We enjoyed walking around the local shops, cafes, and street food vendors 📍Dongseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu If you are looking for a good restaurant for dinner, I would recommend you to try Geumgok Samgyetang. As per the name of restaurant, their signature is the Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup)🍜 It tastes so good and we really love it 💯💯💯 💰 ₩15,000 - ₩20,000 per person 📍123-1 Chilseongnam-ro, Buk-gu, Daegu We also explored the Daegu National Museum. We discovered the rich history of Daegu and the Gyeongsangbuk-do region through various exhibits, including artifacts from the Silla and Joseon periods. ⏰9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Closed on Mondays) 📍 70 Hwanggeum-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu We also visited Apsan Park & Apsan Observatory. A beautiful park offering hiking trails and an observatory with panoramic views of Daegu. We also took cable car to observatory. 💰 Free (Cable car to observatory: ₩10,000 round trip) ⏰ Park is open 24/7; Cable car operates from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM 📍574-114, Apsansunhwan-ro, Nam-gu, Daegu Last but not least, I would recommend you to check out the Seomun Market. It is one of the largest and oldest markets in Korea.
