Malahat Skywalk-breathtaking views!!

Stopped at a new tourist attraction. The malahat skywalk Just off the malahat highway. It was the first time for me and my family. Very easy walk from parking lot to the skywalk. It is breathtaking and with each loop up you get an incredible view of the scenery that is Vancouver Island. Caution ⚠️ there is a very tall slide. You can walk up and down and explore this beautiful area. But there is a super fast way down if you are brave. At first my mother was not brave and she was the one that opted not to take the slide down. But after we saw the slide. Guess who was the fastest to grab a Matt and sit in the slide. MOM! I left her unattended for one second and boom she’s there asking the attendee how to slide faster. She was the first one down and it was so quiet . All I heard at the end was that’s it?!!! Like she was expecting more!!! So I followed up right behind her and it was the most fun 🤩 I’ve had in awhile. I left my partner at the top scared of all the life decisions. But they took a leap of faith and screamed for dear life as she slid all the way down. My mom had to assure her it was over. When asked if we would go again me and mom jumped yes but my partner just said I’ll stay here and enjoy the ice cream 🍦😂😂 she wasn’t going to slide down again. Then we took the trail back.
