De' Tjolomadoe

This place used to be a sugar factory owned by the Mangkunegara sultanate which then stopped in 1998. After that this place became a sugar factory museum and part of the place was used as a place to sell clothes and some street food on the outside. It looks like the place is well managed. Has a large enough parking lot that can enter large buses. Museum entry tickets are quite cheap. The indoor atmosphere is quite comfortable and has a place to hangout for a casual drink. A quite comfortable place for light and culinary tours. However, if we come during the day, it will be quite hot to walk from the parking lot to the museum entrance. #hiddengems
