A city famous for its churches European Cup Cologne Red and Black Raiders

There was a two-day break between the European Cup group stage and the knockout rounds, and I took advantage of these two days to come to Cologne. It turns out that this city can be almost visited in half a day, and the cathedral drives the tourism industry of the entire city. Cologne is also one of the host cities for this European Cup. Writing this article is also a reference for friends who want to watch football or visit the cathedral in the future. My tour order in Cologne is as follows: Cologne Cathedral—Perfume Museum—HeuMarkt Fanzone—Kath. Kirche Christi Auferstehung—Chocolate Museum—Hohenzollern Bridge—Triangle Building. Here is my red and black list: ❤️Red list Cologne Cathedral: I came here just to see this. It is open to the public free of charge. The interior is shown in Figure P3-6. Cologne Cathedral Treasure Hall: Student ticket is 3.5 euros. You can see many very exquisite artifacts, but you are not allowed to take pictures. Perfume Museum: The ticket price is 8 euros. It mainly talks about the origin and development history of the first bottle of cologne in the world. The content is quite satisfactory. But at the end, each person can get a 6 ml bottle of perfume sample. Heumarkt Fanzone: Limited to the period of the European Cup, you can watch live matches, participate in European Cup-related activities and games, and buy Cologne city-limited refrigerator magnets that are only available during the European Cup. Hohenzollern Bridge: Couples will hang concentric locks symbolizing love, as shown in Figure P12. Under the bridge is also the best vantage point for Cologne Cathedral in summer. You can take pictures of the church under the sunset, as shown in Figure 9-11. The specific seats are: P9: Geodätischer Referenzpunkt P10: Rheinufer P11: Equestrian Statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I 🖤Black list Cologne Cathedral Tower Top Observation Deck: Student ticket is 3 euros, but you need to climb 500 steps on foot. Cologne is not a very big city, and if you don’t take pictures of the cathedral itself, the skyline is unremarkable. Chocolate Museum: The ticket price is 12 euros. You can taste some chocolate. It is more suitable for children, but it is boring for adults. Kath. Kirche Christi Auferstehung: Brutalist architecture, which looks unremarkable when photographed, as shown in Figure P13. It is a certain distance from the core tourist area in the city, so there is no need to go there. Triangle Building Observation Deck (summer): Tickets are 5 euros. The sun sets at 22:00 in Cologne summer and the observation deck closes at 20:00. Photos of the city skyline taken here in summer are basically overexposed. If you come, it is recommended to come in winter.
