The story of Colmar Old Town

Travel Diary - Colmar, France. I have been in Switzerland for three days and there are still many places I haven’t visited. I always have to leave some regrets and find a reason to leave next time. We started our journey back today, and our first stop was the small town of Colmar in the Alsace region of France. Colmar is located at the junction of France, Germany and Switzerland. It retains the architectural style of the 16th century and is known as the "Little Venice of France". Colmar still retains the architectural style of the 16th century - half-timbered houses with multi-faceted roofs built of wood. Each cabin has a different color. The wooden houses are lined up on both sides of the Rhine in an orderly manner. The town of Colmar is also the filming template for Hayao Miyazaki's animation "Howl's Moving Castle" and the filming location for "Chinese Restaurant 2". The last picture is the hotel of Chinese Restaurant 2. We went there specifically to take pictures. It is now a Western restaurant. The town of Colmar is also a famous Christmas town in Europe. The festive atmosphere here is very strong every Christmas. There is a natural ski resort nearby, so many ski enthusiasts come here to ski in winter. Alsace is a famous wine producing region, and we planned to go wine hunting the next day.
