This is the enchanting Rothenburg on the upper reaches of the Tauber River, which, despite having been through numerous wars, has fortunately preserved its intact old buildings. This place is known as the jewel of the medieval era. The author specifically stayed here for one night to experience the different scenes of the tranquil town as the light and shadows shifted. Although the town's representative building is the gingerbread-like Schneeballen, the author prefers the Snake House shown in pictures four and five, which can be fully viewed from the ancient city walls and the ground. ✅Must Experience: Be sure to stay for one night, take a walk on the town's cobblestone roads after 9 p.m., or catch a glimpse of the sunrise around 7:30 a.m.
