Secret hike close to Las Vegas

I had a great time hiking the Historic Railroad Trail in Nevada. The trail is pretty easy and flat, which made for a relaxing day. The best part was walking through the old railroad tunnels—there are five in total, and they’re cool to explore. The views of Lake Mead along the way were stunning, especially with the desert landscape around it. One tip: bring water, because there’s not much shade. It can get hot, especially in the summer. I also loved how quiet and peaceful it was; I hardly saw anyone else. Overall, it was a great way to combine history, nature, and some light exercise.
