The fellside trail

Of the many walking routes around Beacon Fell Country Park, I would definitely recommend the Fellside Trail. The 4.5km long loop takes in a variety of scenery along its relatively short route from open moorlands to a mirror pond all whilst traversing through a native forest. Despite not climbing to a great height the views around the route from various points are extensive as you can see Pendle Hill to the East and the Irish Sea at Morecambe bay to the West
