UNESCO World Heritage

#celebratewithtrip Castle Rheinstein (Burg Rheinstein) a 13th century castle and a UNESCO World Heritage, is located on the hill overlooking the river Rhein in Trechtingshausen in the Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz) Region. The area is accessible by regional train RE2 or RE3 from Frankfurt central station or in Mainz central station and then change to RB26 at either Bingen, Ingelheim or Bacharach station to Trechtingshausen. Castle Rheinstein is a 30 minutes walk from Trechtingshausen station. The path is marked along the riverbank.
