Cinque Terre - 3 day itinerary 🇮🇹

#myitinerary During my summer vacation, I spent three incredible days exploring the stunning Cinque Terre in Italy, and it was nothing short of magical! This UNESCO World Heritage site is a collection of five colorful, cliffside villages along the Italian Riviera—each one with its own unique charm. **Day 1:** I started in **Monterosso al Mare**, the largest of the five villages. Here, I relaxed on the beach, which is one of the few sandy stretches in the area, and enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch with a view of the sea. Later, I took a leisurely walk through the town’s narrow streets, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Monterosso is also home to the beautiful Church of San Giovanni Battista, which is worth a visit. **Day 2:** I hopped on the train to **Vernazza**, which quickly became my favorite village. The colorful houses, small harbor, and dramatic views made it feel like a postcard come to life. I explored the Doria Castle and climbed up to the Belforte Tower for breathtaking views of the coastline. In the evening, I enjoyed a simple but perfect dinner of pasta al pesto at a small, family-run trattoria. **Day 3:** My last day was spent hiking between **Corniglia, Manarola,** and **Riomaggiore.** The trails offer stunning vistas of the Mediterranean and the terraced vineyards. Corniglia, perched on a cliff, offers some of the best views but requires a bit of a climb to reach. Manarola’s sunset views are unforgettable—this is the place to be for golden hour. Finally, I ended my day in Riomaggiore, enjoying a gelato by the marina and watching the fishing boats bobbing in the water. There’s no entrance fee to visit the villages, but you’ll need a Cinque Terre Card (about €7.50/day) to access the hiking trails and use the local trains. Nearby, you can also visit the charming town of La Spezia, which is a great base for exploring the region. If you’re looking for stunning scenery, delicious food, and a taste of authentic Italian culture, Cinque Terre is an absolute must. Just be prepared to fall in love with every village you visit! #trip #cinqueterre #italy #hikingadventures #coastalvibes #travel

Cinque Terre

Much can be said about Cinque Terre, probably one of Italy’s most famous landmarks and part of the Unesco World’s Heritage list. As the name says, Cinque Terre consist of five villages: coming from West you got Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. Hallmark to all these villages of fishermen are their colourful houses latched on cliffs that make for incredible sights you’ll never see anywhere else. One of the most valuable things here is the ability to visit all these villages thanks to a few paths and hiking trails, so you could actually walk from Monterosso, the westernmost villages to Riomaggiore, the easternmost one, and back! Nowadays the area is always packed, so plan accordingly and try to avoid car as a means of transportation, parking lots are scarce and expensive and traffic can discourage even the bravest driver! Since every village, except Corniglia, is well connected, you should take the train into consideration: fares are cheap and rides are very short (about 5 mins each). #italy #liguria #cinqueterre #awesomepic #couplestrip #italytravel #italybeauties #seaside #town

Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre is area in western #italy defined by 5 very small villages. The traveling between them is possible by train that runs really often and is also very cheap. The villages needs less than 1km walking in each place so it is easily explorable. #happynewyear
